First Step:
I offer a complimentary 20-30 minute phone consultation. In the course of this conversation, I will be asking you to describe your concern (s). I encourage you to ask any questions you may have regarding the counselling process. You may text me at 778-788-2105 now to book your phone consultation based on availability.
Talking to a stranger about your hurts, fears, and hopes for yourself can seem a little intimidating. I am dedicated to providing a compassionate listening space while providing direction when needed. In the first session, I want to hear about your struggles and what you hope to achieve through counselling. We will begin to explore the inner and outer resources you can activate in service to your goals. At our first session, we will also go over informed consent. In addition, I suggest completing the initial intake form if you are comfortable doing so. Please see the forms below.
Third Step:
As you evolve in the counselling process I encourage you to practice the courage of compassion for yourself. Changing your relationship to the problem in your life can be challenging even when it is rewarding. Acknowledge baby steps! Ask me questions. Notice what resources help you manage/cope/move through anxiety, fear, stress with greater ease. I recommend committing to a minimum of 3 sessions then re-assessing your situation.
Fees:
1 x 60 Minute Session: $120 (Please note: I will be raising my rate to $130 effective July 1, 2023)
1 x 75 Minute Session: $150
Student Rate (with student id): $75
2-3 Person Relationship Counselling X 60 Minute Session: $150

Sessions are available video, phone, in person, and outdoors weather permitting
Payments:
Fees are due at each session by cash, e transfer or Visa/Mastercard.
Cancellations
Appointments must be cancelled or changed 24 hours in advance or a late change fee of $50 will be charged. Please note: for missed appointments with no notice full session will be charged.
Coverage
I am a Registered Clinical Counsellor with the BC Association of Clinical Counsellors (BCACC) and Canadian Certified Counsellor with the Canadian Counselling and Psychotherapy Association (CCPA). Most extended health plans cover the services of a Registered Clinical Counsellor (RCC). Please check with your benefits plan. If so, you may submit receipts to them for reimbursement. A small portion of medical expenses are tax deductible on your yearly income tax. My BCACC registration number is 13773. My CCPA registration number is 11242366.
